General Terms and Conditions Global Meat

Article 1 – Definitions In these terms and conditions, the following definitions shall apply:

Global Meat: The company located at Dinkel 57, 2491 CL The Hague, which supplies products as described in these terms and conditions. Customer: Any natural person or legal entity entering into an agreement with Global Meat. Products: All frozen meat and fresh vacuum packed meat and other goods supplied by Global Meat. Agreement: Any written, oral or digital agreement between Global Meat and the purchaser regarding the delivery of products.

Article 2 – Applicability These general terms and conditions apply to all quotations, offers, agreements and deliveries of Global Meat, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Any general terms and conditions of the buyer are expressly rejected, unless accepted in writing by Global Meat.

Article 3 – Quotations and Offers All quotations and offers of Global Meat are without obligation, unless otherwise agreed in writing. An agreement is concluded once Global Meat has confirmed the order in writing or digitally.

Article 4 – Prices and Payments All prices are exclusive of VAT and any transportation costs, unless otherwise stated. Payments must be made within 14 days of the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed in writing. In case of late payment, Global Meat reserves the right to charge statutory interest and collection costs.

Article 5 – Delivery and transport Deliveries are provided within Europe and are made at the agreed location. Delivery dates are indicative and exceeding them does not entitle the buyer to compensation or dissolution of the agreement. The risk of damage or loss of products passes to the buyer at the time of delivery.

Article 6 – Retention of title All delivered products remain the property of Global Meat until full payment, including any interest and costs, is made. The buyer may not pledge or resell the delivered products before ownership has been transferred.

Article 7 – Complaints and liability Complaints about delivered products are to be reported in writing to Global Meat within 24 hours of receipt, with a clear description of the problem. Global Meat is only liable for direct losses that are demonstrably the result of intent or gross negligence. Global Meat is not liable for indirect losses, such as loss of profit or business interruption.

Article 8 – Cancellation and returns Cancellation of orders can only take place in writing and with the approval of Global Meat. Return of products is possible only by agreement and if the products are unopened, undamaged and in original condition.

Article 9 – Force Majeure In the event of force majeure, Global Meat is entitled to suspend delivery or to rescind all or part of the agreement, without the purchaser being entitled to damages. Force majeure means any circumstance independent of the will of Global Meat, such as natural disasters, wars, pandemics, transportation restrictions or governmental measures.

Article 10 – Applicable law and disputes Dutch law applies to all agreements and disputes. Disputes are preferably resolved by mutual agreement. If this is not possible, disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the district in which Global Meat is located.

Article 11 – Amendments to General Terms and Conditions Global Meat reserves the right to amend these General Terms and Conditions. Amended terms and conditions will be announced to the customer in writing or digitally and will take effect 30 days after announcement.
